MARCH FOR MISSING STUDENT LEADER

Students in Swaziland are to march to the Human Rights Commission to deliver a petition about the missing Pius Vilakati.

Vilakati, who was one of the mourners at the funeral of Sipho Jele at Ncabaneni has disappeared since Sunday and his whereabouts remain unknown.

It is thought Vilakati was captured by police who were hunting down anyone they suspected of having links with the banned People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO).

Fears are high because it is suspected by democracy activists in Swaziland that police murdered Jele and Vilakati may have met the same fate.

  1. I think this blog is exactly what Swazis needs to be informed of the going-ons behind the law, and not that propaganda they call the times of Swaziland.
