‘REGIME’ DISRUPTS STUDENTS’ MEETING

University of Swaziland (UNISWA) students are this afternoon (6 September 2011) in a student body meeting, at Kwaluseni campus. The meeting on the second day of the Global Week of Action for Swaziland had been scheduled to start at 1100hrs, but was delayed because the regime refused to allow hired transport to leave Luyengo and Mbabane campuses. The students from both campuses have decided to use public transport.

Pius UnSwazi Rinto, reports on Facebook that the students will discuss the issue of scholarship for first years, cutting of allowances, the almanac, and other issues.
