Railway workers in Swaziland have won a court fight to be allowed to ballot for
strike action.
The Industrial Court of Appeal made the ruling after
Swaziland Railways tried to block the Public and Private Sector Transport
Workers Union from going ahead.
The victory follows years of wrangling between workers and
management over a pay claim. The union wants a 15 percent rise across the board
and a 50 percent increase in allowances.
