KING'S MISSION FAILS AS ZUMA TAKES A FIRM STAND
Mswati's last meeting with the President of the Republic of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, has been postponed indefinitely.
After the king reiterated his urgent plea for a R10 Billion loan from South Africa, Jacob Zuma responded by telling him the conditions under which any loan agreement could be considered.Mswati has been told to unban political parties and to cease taking center stage in the running of the country. He has been ordered to allow a transition government to run the country henceforth.
As this is the exact demand that has been made by pro-democracy groups and unions in the country, the king was left fuming by these conditions. The Swaziland Solidarity Network is extremely proud of this diplomatic, yet firm, stand taken by the South African government.
We further urge all Swazi civil servants to be patient as the economic meltdown will hit them hardest. This, however, is a necessary sacrifice for democracy.

This is very good news. It is about time HM takes stock and packs his bags from the political arena. Constitutional monarchy is what Swaziland need.
