Political parties can’t be stopped
Sam Mkhombe, the dismissed private secretary to King Mswati III strongly believes Swaziland has no choice but to open up to multiparty democracy. They are a political inevitability. Fired from the royal court for holding meetings to discuss the possibilities of ditching the Tinkhundla system of government, Mkhombe maintains that Swaziland can no longer hold on to old and unworkable ideologies. He says stomach politics is what is killing this country.
